Kendall AMD Antimicrobial Foam Discs are sterile, absorbent foam dressings designed for use around catheter insertion sites and other percutaneous medical devices.

Each disc contains 0.5% polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB), an antimicrobial agent that helps inhibit bacterial growth within the dressing.

The foam discs feature a 2.5cm outer diameter and a 7mm central opening, allowing them to fit around compatible catheters, drains and other medical devices.

Their absorbent foam construction helps manage moisture and exudate around insertion sites, while the antimicrobial properties provide additional protection against bacterial contamination within the dressing.

Suitable for use around central venous catheters, PICC lines, gastrostomy sites and other appropriate percutaneous devices, subject to clinical guidance.

Supplied as a pack of 10 sterile, single-use antimicrobial foam discs.
